When Life Hands You Lemons... Smack 'Em Out The Ballpark!

October 27, 2008

I read a post today about the "make lemons into lemonade" adage and it got me thinking...

  • What if I don't like lemonade?
  • What if the acidic nature of lemons makes me pucker?
  • What if I have an enamel problem on my teeth and the juice will cause me irreparable dental damage?

Then, turning lemons into lemonade doesn't help me!

Okay, so what can you do when bad stuff happens?

Take my friend Jan Tallent: Super mom, online marketer, big-time social networker, ezine queen and nice person to talk with.

We had an opportunity to discuss her phenomonal story of discovery, opportunity and business building strategies on my Blog Talk Radio show "Internet Marketing Today".

It should have been a piece of cake...

You know there's this other adage about "Murphy's Law", and I don't know about you, but he seems to be working overtime.

First, I had some sort of computer malfunction and couldn't cue Jan on the call last week (10/20/2008). Then, she had a computer meltdown which she will blog about on her site, Rim Digest.

Wow! What else can go wrong!

Anyway, about the lemon-lemonade reference, since she is unable to join me this week for the special segment of "Internet Marketing Today", then to reward any listener of the show tonight, I will give you a link for your personal copy of "Think & Grow Rich" by Napoleon Hill

So, nevermind about the lemonade stuff, let's go for the "meat and potatoes" of marketing and send ole Murphy back where he belongs!

Join me this evening at 5pm PST or listen to the replay, get your free copy of "Think & Grow Rich" and don't let any circumstance stop you from moving forward!

Enjoy hitting those lemons in your life, out of the park!

Anthony
